Over the past 15 years AAN has rescued and placed over 2000 pets.

Transportation is a major part of rescue! Without transportation a rescue can not pull animals from high kill shelters, they can not get pets to the vet, or to adoption events.

At this time, AAN is struggling with this issue and we have not been able to come up with a solution. After talking with the volunteers and Board members, we have decided that it would be best to focus our efforts on the pets already in our rescue. We will need to stop pulling animals and taking in owner surrenders. It saddens us deeply but at this moment, there is no other option.
